Craft Beer Branding & Packaging Design

SWCA started with SlowHand as they were preparing to open their brewery and tasting room. They were a new company and needed everything. First off – a logo and a brand concept to carry forward to the marketplace.

Slow Hand continues to evolve. Now with more beer styles and the next line of full height can labels hitting store shelves in 2021. SWCA also developed social media advertising, graphic design for print collateral, marketing materials and studio photography for the brand launch.

The team at the Slow Hand Beer started operations in Vancouver in early 2018. Their mission; to produce clean crisp lager-style beers using very traditional methods. In a market flooded with hop-heavy and flavoured beers, they want to be different. Above all, to be your go-to beer after those heavier ones.

Slow Hand approached SWCA to develop a grungy scratched looking tin utilizing a clean but unique wordmark. We landed on a look that everyone loves and have now extended the brand labeling over many unique colour SKUs.
